Camp Create Day 1
I'm planning to try to complete the challenges posted by My Favorite Things this week.
I don't have any watercolor paints yet so I was trying to figure out how in the world I would complete this. I have an old set of Stampin' Up Watercolor Crayons that I've never used. So I pulled them out and played around some. I used watercolor paper, wet it, scribbled, brushed over it, and repeated several times. I had the hugs and bear left over from another card set I made last week so I went with it. I don't know that I love the outcome but here is my card:

In Love with The Greeting Farm
I'm in love with the stamps from The Greeting Farm! I got some stamped images in a swap I did on SCS. I used this cute little girl to make a birthday card for my mother in law. I just love how cute she it! I used Crystal Effects on her sunglasses to make them shine. I also used some flowers I got in the swap.

Go With the Flow
Yes, I know this one is a little twisted. But anyone who knows me will appreciate this one. I used pink and brown for my color combo. I also pulled out some ribbon that went well with these colors. I stamped the brush image with Versamark on the brown layer. I also added a little bling to the toilet.

Love You the Most
This one is a plain, simple little card. I wanted to add some buttons or something to it but just wasn't happy with the way it looked. So I just left it as is. I colored her with my Copics. I don't know how I lived without those markers. I'm going to have to keep an eye out for another sale at Hobby Lobby and stock up on some more!

Rock the Farm
Have you seen the stamps from The Greeting Farm? I saw them and fell in love with them. I just ordered a few stamps from them to make sure I liked the quality and I love them! You cut them out yourself and them come mounted on cling foam. I like them that way because I put them on transparencies, put those in a page protector, and them they all go in a binder. It takes up a lot less space that way!
Anyways, this is the first card I made with my new stamps. I love this little girl and there was a boy with a fishing pole that came with this set too. Check back in the next couple of days for that one (it is my all time favorite). I used my nesties to cut out the ovals and pulled out some more of that DP I'm trying to use. I have a feeling you will be seeing my DP for years to come! lol I colored this farm girl with my copics. It reminded me of FarmTown that I play on Facebook all the time. So I had to make a card for all my Farmtown friends!

Better Than Ice Cream
I started making a card and didn't like what I came up with, so I took it in another direction. This is what I came up with. I used more DP for the background and I even added a little lace along the bottom edge. I went to get some beads for the sprinkles on top but the ones I got were too long. So I went with the seed beads. Not exactly what I was going for but I think it works. I also put some CE on the ice cream to help the beads stick. And, of course, I colored with my Copics.

Brown Beach Bella
I am still using my DP. I have a stack over a foot high! Can you believe that? I just keep collecting it. So I used two designs with Tempting Turquoise. I also used paper piecing for the towel and bag. I love my Copic markers so much that I don't color with anything else now. I just need some more colors, which is hard to do because they are so expensive. But oh so worth it!

Never Tire-d
I made this for the sketch challenge on SCS last week. This is a super cute stamp and I haven't used it in a while, of course, I haven't used a lot of my stamps in a while. I colored the little guy with my Copics. The panels of DP for the background were pretty easy to do, easier than I thought they would be. Each panel is 1 1/4 in. wide. They fit perfectly across the base of the card.
I got some new Riley stamps and some stamps from The Greeting Farm. That is a new stamp company I discovered on SCS and I had to order some. They come on a sheet and you have to cut them out. The stamps are mounted on cling foam and you just stick them on an acrylic block when you are ready to stamp with them. I really like stamps like this because I put the on a transparency and into a page protector. I have a binder full of stamps and they take up much less room than individual boxes. I will be posted some new cards with the Greeting Farm stamps soon!

MFT Ice Cream
I pulled out this MFT stamp set that I haven't used very much. I just love this cup of ice cream. I color it green every time because it reminds me of the green cups like this that my mom had when I was a kid. She always made pudding in them but I still color the ice cream cup green. I added some glitter to the chocolate using a glitter pen and a rhinestone on top for the cherry.

Purple Bella
Here is another card I made trying to use up some of my DP I haven't used it a while. Purple isn't normally a color I reach for so I decided to pair it up with on of my favorite Bella stamps. I used a few different patterns of DP too. Hmm... not sure if it is a favorite but I have 4 of them to use now. My favorite part of this is the love charm I added to go along with the stamp "all things grow with love."

*MWAH*
This is one of my favorite Bella stamps. She is just too cute! I used Old Olive for the base and then pulled out some more of the DP. I also used my green brads and ribbon. Trace gave me a few rolls of this ribbon and it matches Old Olive perfectly! And you can't really see it but I used my edge punch to scallop the edge of the DP on the right. I hope you like it!

Sweet!
I love this Gina K stamp set and I just haven't had the time to use it much. I pulled it out along with the Cuttlebug and made this card. I also used my new Nesties, which I love. I always tend to pick brown and red to use with this set. I'm going to have to try to use something a little different next time.

Told you I was stamping again!
I have been making lot of cards since I've been out for summer break. It really makes a difference when I have time to stamp. I pulled out some of my Changito monkey stamps and made this cute card. I love this little guy in his swim gear. It makes me laugh every time I see it. I also pulled out some more of that DP I never use. I have a huge stack of it and I always think I need more for some reason. I have decided to try and use what I have before I buy any more. I also colored the image with my Copics.

Cool Beans

I couldn't sleep last night so I went to the stamp table! I had to make another card with my new Gina K set, My Cuppa Joe. I stamped the image on my DP and cut out the cup. I also pulled out my nesties to cut the small circles for the cool beans circle. I chose this paper because I had several different designs that were all the same color. I wonder if I should have set it up a little different, but I guess I like it. I also found a place to put some ribbon on this one! I used my copics to add coffee to the cup and shade around the bottom of the saucer.

Friendship is like good coffee~

The moment I saw the Gina K set My Cuppa Joe I knew I had to have it! I just love these coffee sets and this one was wonderful. My DH gave me $ for our anniversary so I could get what I wanted. So this was one of the first things I ordered.
I pulled it out when we got home tonight (from all our family visits) and inked it up. I picked up a few new Copics while we were out today so I used a new one to color the inside of the two coffee cups. Then I added LA to the middle cup to make it look like whipped cream. I know I should really add some ribbon some where but I'm not sure where I would put it. I used my MS edge punch on the red and I embossed the next layer with my CB embossing folder. I love the way this turned out!

Fluffy Cream

Well, the last post was the last of my VSN cards. I only have this one more card that I made to post before I have to start stamping again. I have a new stamp set and an idea so if I get time I'll make something tomorrow.
This one I made with my Like it a Latte stamp set. I used LA on the top of the cup to make it look like whipped cream. I pulled out this DP that was given to me as a gift. I love the way the paper sparkles and I also added glitter on the top of the cream. You can't see it very well in the pictures- but it is there!

La Cage Aux Folles

For this VSN challenge I had to make a masculine card BUT it had to include at least 2 traditionally feminine components. I decided to use my Unity tree with kraft and brown paper. I then added ribbon, a charm, and some bling for the feminine touch. I'm not sure if this is what you would think of as a masculine card but I think I would send it to my dad or brother. They would both appreciate even a girly card!
