Favorite

This is one of my favorite cards from the summer so far. This stamp is from The Greeting Farm. I used some old DP I had in the closet. I have so much DP and I keep buying more. I could probably quit buying and have enough to last for the rest of my life. Does anyone else have that problem?

Got Flowers?

That's Prima's catch phrase. Well, I got flower and got flowers and never did anything with them. So this week I challenged myself to use some of those flowers I've been getting. I have a ton of them and never use them because they just don't look complete to me. I added a few dew drops to the middle and I think I like the way these turned out. See what you think!

This is a new stamp I got from Some Odd Girl! Isn't she cute?

And this one is from The Greeting Farm. I used my letters to add "i'm nerdy and i know it" because that is so fitting for me.

Another Greeting Farm Stamp

Are you tired of seeing my Greeting Farm stamps yet? I just love these girls and I found another stamp company I love just as much. Have you heard of Some Odd Girl stamps? Oh my, love at first sight for me. I ordered a few clear stamps and I'm thinking of getting a few digi images as well. I can't wait to get some time for stamping and show you what I've done.

Girl in Blue/Tan

Here's another card I made with my Greeting Farm stamps. I colored it with Copics. I can't tell you how much I love those markers. I haven't even touched my colored pencils since I got them. I guess I shouldn't neglect my pencils but they just don't give me the smooth color the Copics do!

Been busy!

I've been stamping and just haven't posting anything in a while. So since summer is here I've decided to update my stamping blog. I have a school blog and photography blog too. This is one of the cards I made with a Greeting Farm stamp. I love these little girl stamps. I'll be posting more cards soon!

In Love with The Greeting Farm

I'm in love with the stamps from The Greeting Farm! I got some stamped images in a swap I did on SCS. I used this cute little girl to make a birthday card for my mother in law. I just love how cute she it! I used Crystal Effects on her sunglasses to make them shine. I also used some flowers I got in the swap.

Love You the Most

This one is a plain, simple little card. I wanted to add some buttons or something to it but just wasn't happy with the way it looked. So I just left it as is. I colored her with my Copics. I don't know how I lived without those markers. I'm going to have to keep an eye out for another sale at Hobby Lobby and stock up on some more!

Fisherman from Rock the Farm

I made this card with the little fisherman from the Rock the Farm stamp set from The Greeting Farm. I am so proud of this card! When I started I just stamped this little guy and colored the image with my Copics. I normally plan the card out before I start, but not this time. After coloring him I picked out some colors that went well with him. I also used the CB to emboss the caramel layer to make it look a little like fish scales. After kicking ideas around my wonderful husband suggested a hook. He pulled out some craft wire he uses in his model car building and made me some hooks. He also gave me the idea to put the fibers around the top of the hook. I stuck a brad through and attached it to the ribbon that way because I didn't want to glue it. I love this little guy. Too bad I don't know any fishermen to send it to.

Rock the Farm

Have you seen the stamps from The Greeting Farm? I saw them and fell in love with them. I just ordered a few stamps from them to make sure I liked the quality and I love them! You cut them out yourself and them come mounted on cling foam. I like them that way because I put them on transparencies, put those in a page protector, and them they all go in a binder. It takes up a lot less space that way!
Anyways, this is the first card I made with my new stamps. I love this little girl and there was a boy with a fishing pole that came with this set too. Check back in the next couple of days for that one (it is my all time favorite). I used my nesties to cut out the ovals and pulled out some more of that DP I'm trying to use. I have a feeling you will be seeing my DP for years to come! lol I colored this farm girl with my copics. It reminded me of FarmTown that I play on Facebook all the time. So I had to make a card for all my Farmtown friends!
