Never Tire-d

I made this for the sketch challenge on SCS last week. This is a super cute stamp and I haven't used it in a while, of course, I haven't used a lot of my stamps in a while. I colored the little guy with my Copics. The panels of DP for the background were pretty easy to do, easier than I thought they would be. Each panel is 1 1/4 in. wide. They fit perfectly across the base of the card.
I got some new Riley stamps and some stamps from The Greeting Farm. That is a new stamp company I discovered on SCS and I had to order some. They come on a sheet and you have to cut them out. The stamps are mounted on cling foam and you just stick them on an acrylic block when you are ready to stamp with them. I really like stamps like this because I put the on a transparency and into a page protector. I have a binder full of stamps and they take up much less room than individual boxes. I will be posted some new cards with the Greeting Farm stamps soon!

Told you I was stamping again!

I have been making lot of cards since I've been out for summer break. It really makes a difference when I have time to stamp. I pulled out some of my Changito monkey stamps and made this cute card. I love this little guy in his swim gear. It makes me laugh every time I see it. I also pulled out some more of that DP I never use. I have a huge stack of it and I always think I need more for some reason. I have decided to try and use what I have before I buy any more. I also colored the image with my Copics.

Monkey w/Cocoa

I don't think I posted a picture of the card I made using my new Changito monkey stamp. This little guy is just too cute! I love the way they made him look like he is shivering. I used some old SU DP and the words from Like it a Latte. I hope you like it!

4th of July Card

Here is what I have come up with for my July 4th cards. I ordered these stamps especially for these cards. I played around with the layout and came up with something I like. I have embossed all the backgrounds, tied all the ribbon, put in all the brads, and put everything together except the main image. Since I color them with Prismacolors and then go back over them with Gamasol I can only do a few at a time before I get a crick in my neck. I shouldn't have a problem getting them all done in time to mail them for the 4th.

Happy Father's Day

I made these cards for all the dads in my life. I went to the scrapbook store and found this paper that said dad and father. I also got the striped paper to match it. Of course, I had to use these cute little monkey stamps! I hope they all like it!

Monkey Tag

I just made these luggage tags for my suitcase and backpack. I used my favorite monkey stamps. I am leaving for the Mayo Clinic tomorrow and I needed some tags for my suitcase. I knew these would be cute and I have better things to do than pack! lol

I won't be posting until I get back. They said to plan for anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. I'll post when I get back!

Mini VSN- Scarlet Letter

I did this card for the Scarlet Letter challenge for the Mini VSN. The challenge was to create a card with a red letter. I used my chipboard and covered it with ruby red paper. I also used a sponge and dabbed the paper. I had to use the monkeys because this is a new stamp and it went perfect with the word "love." I also cut the scalloped punches in half. I used my white gel pen on the navy.

Monkeys inspired by SCS

I saw this card on SCS by stephanie.hargis and I just had to make one like it. It was too cute and used the monkeys I love right now. I changed it up a little but I kept most of it the same. It was too cute to change too much. The paper I used was really rust, not quite navy, so saffron, and white. I used the navy ribbon as well. Thanks for the inspiration Stephanie!

Changito Tire Swing

OK, I think this is my favorite Changito stamp right now. My SU order of paper came in and I finally have Chocolate Chip to work with again. I also ordered Temping Turquoise so I used that! I also used the CB embossing folder to do the squares on the turquoise background. I only made 4 of these and I think I should have done more. I can't wait to send these out!
